Lilac Tree Suites is the second of our Mackinac Island makeovers and another great one designed by Dog Ear Marketing & Web Design. This site is from a different company on Main St, and also has a few sister businesses as well. This is the start of the story for the transformations for this company.

Lilac is a great property on the island and is very easily pointed out on Main street. Not only can you find it easily by the iconic colors but also you walk through the bottom of it to get to a few stores that are housed in the back, it’s quite a neat arrangement and the new site captures how iconic it is. When navigating the site you’ll find the different offerings, special packages, and make reservations through a third party. This site could benefit as well from having a reservation system that is native to the site rather than working with a third party.

One neat thing that can be found on this particular site is Winter reservations and cams on the island so that you can see what’s happening all year round as well as stay there during the off peak times for travel. You can also find several things to do around the island if you want to experience more than just Main St and the several shops.

As pictured above we have another blazing fast site with great numbers across the board. Even with the large payload at the top of the site we have a great load time although that will always be a factor of making it a little slower than other sites that don’t offer the huge visual at the top of the site.
